Hello all and welcome to Maeve’s Magic’s spooktacular post!
It’s officially one of my favorite times of the year, spooktacular catering season! We’re talking about a magical ambiance, whimsical cheeseboards, autumnal appetizers, and cozy treats. This is typically my busy season for tea parties and small catering! As the season changes, I love utilizing edible flowers while I still have them in the garden! I also try to incorporate both fall pastas and pizzas using my grandpa’s red sauce recipe! This Sicilian sauce smells amazing and always bring a touch of magic to every event! For beverages, any spiked (or unspiked) autumnal punch is always a crowd pleaser for fall events!
For my sustainable catering business, I try to incorporate vintage linens and decor. Reusing old vintage pieces brings a lot of life to any event! You won’t find any of my decor at Target, and that brings a unique magic to any setup!
Halloween is the perfect chance to world build with any event. Practical Magic…but it’s at your house! (Sign me up!) You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to put on a magical event! Adding cheap candles, vintage platters, garden picked flowers and herbs, and bowls of apples is a simple but beautiful way to bring in the whimsy!
