Let the cauldron bubble!

Welcome witches! This is my family’s herbal moon water recipe infused with roses! Forever a magical staple our house! It’s a very therapeutic and family friendly activity to light a candle, put some witchy music on, and go to town!
I believe being from both Irish Catholic and Sicilian Catholic ancestors, we along the way inherited Mother Mary as a feminine protector. The symbol of roses has been a long-time generational family symbol of hope! My mom’s garden was always filled with different beautiful roses, and the idea of making a rose water seemed like a magical way to honor Mary beyond our garden.
When brewing magical potions, full moons around Halloween prove to be a great time to try! ๐ We used a sparkling spring water, picked roses, thyme, rosemary, and lavender. We then created little workstations where we used wooden sticks as our instruments to help push in our garden ingredients through the narrow opening of our brew bottles.

*The very first time we were in total awe because there was an actual chemical reaction from the lavender and thyme once it entered the sparkling water that made it dramatically bubble, so the brews were officially bubbling! Once you’ve assembled your potions, put your brew under the full moon, and in the morning stick it in the fridge!
In a few weeks you will have some of the richest most beautiful smelling rose water with multiple magical properties. The antibacterial properties of the herbs help the Witch’s Brew keep in your fridge nicely for months!
Enjoy!
