Why on earth would I agree to host tea parties in one the most notoriously haunted residents in Ohio?

For decades The Franklin Castle has been the beautiful Ohio City curiosity… feared by locals, accessed by few! It wasn’t until a recent change in ownership and restoration where life started returning to The Frankin Castle! Because of the dark legend of Hans Tiedemann, I was understandably apprehensive to ever go inside. It wasn’t until a friend with an opportunity to do my tea parties at the castle changed everything!

Bill Krejci who does the castle tours had not only lived in the castle for six years, but he also thoroughly researched and wrote many books that debunked a lot of the unfavorable family myths. After reading this I decided to give it a shot and take a tour, and it was such a game changer for me!

After going through the infamous front doors, the only words that came to mind was ” it’s an enchanted castle”! The spirits are definitely active, but not in a menacing way at all! I then realized the castle has just been misunderstood for years. The current Fraklin Castle owners absolutely understood this, and they wanted to really do The Franklin Castle justice!

Every room has been restored with so much dedication, vision and heart.

I personally really fell in love with the timeless other worldly beauty within each room. It has been such an honor and treat to do my tea parties, small catering, and events at the castle! The castle ghosts and staff have been so welcoming, and at this point feel like family!
